After nearly seven years of paper work and delays, the Q 99.7 signed on the air on November 1, 2006.
The signal is strong and clear throughout the Metro-Springfield area, which includes Enfield CT, Agawam, Springfield, Westfield, and Holyoke.
The purpose of the Q 99.7 is to provide a message of hope to people of the Pioneer Valley and Northern Connecticut. More than 400,000 people can receive our signal!
We play music from artists such as Jeremy Camp, Casting Crowns, Third Day, Toby Mac, and Chris Tomlin.
Our mission is to deliver a message of hope to our community through uplifting music and DJ's that connect.
We want to encourage people in their walk of faith, while introducing Jesus in a relevant way to those who don't know Him.
Hope for Today But blessed are those who trust in the Lord
and have made the Lord their hope and confidence.
They are like trees planted along a riverbank,
with roots that reach deep into the water.
Such trees are not bothered by the heat
or worried by long months of drought.
Their leaves stay green,
and they never stop producing fruit. Jeremiah 17:7-8
